Mr. Andrew A. Cestaro , age 45, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 1 st , 2019 in Kingsland, Ga.
Mr.
Cestaro was born June 1 st , 1973 in Saratoga Springs, NY to Andrea
Coffey and the late Vincent S. Cestaro of Gansevoort, NY. He graduated from
South Glen Falls High School in 1993. Mr. Cestaro was employed by the Bennett
Dodge dealership in Kingsland, Ga. as a professional mechanic stating, “It’s
the best job I ever had.”
Andrew,
aka Andy, Drew, little big brother, McGillicutty, and Oompa Loompa to some
kids, always tried to make others smile and laugh. He would do anything he
could to help out friends and family. He had a big heart. Andrew also loved to
attend Nascar races (#48) with his favorite uncle, and also enjoyed attending
the Turkey Run Race in Jacksonville, Fl. with a close friend. He loved to play
with the kids out in the yard, hang around a campfire, laugh and tell stories.
Hunting in the fall in the Adirondacks, and fishing, on both water and ice,
with his closest friends in upstate New York were his hobbies. Andy’s dogs,
Missy and Titan, a Staffordshire Pit Bull Terrier and Blue Nose Pit Bull
Terrier were his kids. The “kids” loved to go for car rides and to go play Pokémon
Go with him. Andrew was known for talking backwards and that damn “meow”.
Mr. Cestaro is
survived by his mother, Andrea (John) Coffey of Kingsland, Ga. and his sister,
Shawna (Robert) Shad, III and small nephew, Robert Shad, IV of Merritt Island,
Fl.; his favorite uncle, Charles (April) Hamilton of Tewksbury, Ma., his
uncles, William Hamilton of Clifton Park, NY., James (Thea) Hamilton of Canton,
SD., and Thomas (Susan) Hamilton of Aurora, Co.; many cousins from upstate New
York, Massachusetts, South Dakota, and Colorado; and many friends from upstate
New York, Jacksonville, Fl., and Kingsland, Ga.
A
visitation of Mr. Cestaro’s family and friends will be held from 6 pm to 7pm on
Saturday, April 27 th , 2019 in the Woods-Wainwright Chapel of Coastal
Camden Funeral Home in Kingsland, Ga. A celebration of his life will follow
immediately from 7 pm to 8 pm.
