Mr. Andy Pendley, age 61, of Griffin, GA passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
Mr. Pendley was born on October 13, 1954 in McDonough, GA to the late Frank Pendley and the late Jean Alexander Pendley.
Mr. Pendley retired after 30 years of employment in the Entomology Department with the University of Georgia - Griffin Campus. He was a proud Benefactor member of the NRA. He enjoyed woodworking, trout fishing and riding his tractor with his dog, Ally.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Pendley; daughters and sons-in-law, Claire and Jonathan Kimbell, Katy and Joey Grubbs; grand-daughter Stella Kimbell, all of Griffin; and his friends of the Trout Drinking Club.
A memorial service for Mr. Andy Pendley will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Dr. Keith Wesley will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation at Attn: Honor and Memorial Gifts PO Box 1242 Albert Lea, MN 56007 or a charity of their choice.
