Ms. Anne “Hattie” Blakely, age 85 of Woodbine, Ga., passed away on the morning of Sunday, April 30th, 2023 at Community Hospice in Jacksonville, Fl.
Ms. Blakely was born on January 25th, 1938 in Macon, Ga. to the late C. Wallace and Ruby Lee Blakely.
Hattie was an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society, Woodbine Women’s Club, and the Camden County School System. She was an active member of the Woodbine Methodist Church and Choir. She had her Masters Degree in teaching and was a PE Teacher, Coach, and retired as a Principal in Bibb County.
Ms. Blakely is survived by her daughter in love, Julia Lené Bauder of Kingsland, Ga.; and a host of cousins and close friends.
Services will be at the Woodbine Methodist Church Friday, May 12th, 2023 at 2 pm. Inurnment will be at 2 pm Saturday, May 27th, 2023 at Macon Memorial Cemetery in Macon, Ga.
