Anthony Sneed

Mr. Anthony Sneed, age 56, of Griffin, GA passed on January 20, 2014 at Spalding Regional Hospital.

Mr. Sneed was born in Upson County on July 19, 1957 to the late Walter J. Sneed and Mattie Lou Traylor Sneed.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Evelyn Sneed of Griffin, GA. Daughters: Latoya Sneed of Thomaston, GA; Tanika (Rickey) Woolridge of Ft. Hood, Texas; Dana Nelson of Griffin, GA. Sons: Antonio (Angela) Sneed, Sr. of Snellville, GA; Juan (Phoenix) Gaston of Union City, GA; Joseph (Printessa) Gaston of Griffin, GA. Thirteen grandchildren: Allye, Ari, Keyonna, Amya, Jamiyah, Swan, Armani, Jamari, Joseph Jr, Juan Jr, Nazir, Jakolby and Antonio Jr “AJ”. Sister: Eunice (Willie) Walker of Thomaston, GA and Brother: Archie Ray (Debra) Sneed of Thomaston, GA. An aunt, Eddie Mae Hollis of Powder Springs, GA and uncles Albert (Bernice) Sneed of Lithonia, GA and Bobby (Mattie) Traylor of Thomaston, GA. Mother and father-in-law: George and Inez Gaston of Griffin, GA; Five sister-in-laws and two brother-in-laws; A very special nephew, Brandon Sneed of Thomaston, GA; godmother; Ethel Fambro; best friend Don Clinton and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Anthony Sneed will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11am at Achaia Baptist Church on LaPrade Rd. in Griffin. Pastor Ronald Adams will officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family from 6-8pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
