Arlie Davis

Mr. Arlie Ben Davis, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida passed away in the morning hours of Monday, October 1 st , 2018 at St. Vincent’s Riverside in Jacksonville, Florida.
Mr. Davis was born July 2 nd , 1951 in Kingsland, Ga. to the late Arlie and Beatrice Lamb Davis, Sr.
His family said of him, “Arlie was a strong willed and hardworking man who fiercely loved and protected his family. His favorite person in this entire world other than his late wife, Nicki was his son Scoot (Ben). That all changed once his grandson Ethan was born. Both were his pride and joy. He loved watching his Georgia Bulldogs play on Saturdays and driving his Ford trucks.” He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Davis is survived by his son, Arlie B. (Anna) Davis, III of Jacksonville, Fl.; his siblings, Betty Colson, Leroy Davis, and Helen Thrift all of Yulee, Fl., Niearl (Arthur) Schultheiss of Stuart, Fl., and Ethan Goblet of Jacksonville, Fl.
A visitation will be held at 11 am Thursday, October 4 th , 2018 in the Woods-Wainwright Chapel of Coastal Camden Funeral Home in Kingsland, Ga.
