Barbara Washington

Mrs. Barbara Jean Washington, age 78, of Griffin, GA passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Washington was born in Coweta County to the late Elden and Virginia McCoy. She was also preceded in death by her husband Douglas E. Washington. Mrs. Washington was a long time member of Second Baptist Church.

Mrs. Washington is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Angie and Brian Travis; her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Joy Washington; grandchildren, Andy Washington, Kara and Jonathan Bloom, Chase Travis, Alexa Travis and Addison Travis.

Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Jean Washington will be conducted on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Dr. Ed S. Hoard & Rev. Jim Cannady will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour on Sunday.
