Mrs. Bertha Little Russell, age 88, of Milner, GA, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018 in Golden Manner Senior Living in Lawrenceville, GA.

Mrs. Russell was born on August 30, 1929 in Thomaston, GA. Mrs. Russell was a longtime member of Rock Springs Congregational Methodist Church in Milner, and a founding member of the Compassionate Hearts Support Group at Rock Springs. She also actively participated in the Relay for Life Cancer Walk. Mrs. Russell is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Nannie Little; husband, Aldean Russell, Sr.; sisters, Carol Brown, Ernestine Waters and Joan Peak; and brother, Benny Little.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law; Elaine and Gene Milan, Winnie and Larry Brownlow, and Nancy and Kent Peterman; son, Aldean Russell, Jr.; grandchildren, Carol, Teresa, Brooke, Jessica, Lauren, Emmali, Kayla, A. J., Lindsey, Tyler and Olivia; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Ethel Teal, Doris Ford and Ann Ramsey; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Homer and Doris Little, Tommy and Mickey Little, Johnny and Angie Little, and Sonny Little.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Little Russell will be held Sunday, August 26, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at Rock Springs Congregational Methodist Church in Milner. Dr. Benny Tate and Reverend Gene Milan will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Saturday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Rock Springs Church Compassionate Hearts Support Group, 219 Rock Springs Road, Milner, GA 30257 in memory of Mrs. Bertha Little Russell.
