Ms. Betty Mae Anderson, age 88, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, December 5
th
, 2023 at the Warner Center Community Hospice in Fernandina Beach, Fl.
Ms. Anderson was born on October 28 th , 1935 in Norristown, Ga. to the late James and Bessie Smith.
Ms. Anderson is survived by her daughters, Joy (David) Tyson of Woodbine, Ga.; and Sherry (Jim) Wilson of Dover Bluff, Ga.; her sister, Gail Stewart of Savannah, Ga.; her grandchildren, Yvonne Tyson, Dax Tyson, Morgan (Austin) Chambless, Tiffany Tyson, Logan Tyson, Natalie (Nick) Munson, Elena Barber, Glenn Wilson, and Matthew (Angi) Wilson; her great-grandchildren, Raven Tyson, Gabe Tyson, Tim (Bonnie) Wilson, Nick Wilson, Kirkland Wilson, Riley Wilson, Marcus Munson, Liam Barber, and Jack Munson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her parents, Ms. Anderson was preceded in death by her sisters, Louise Fennell, Helen Allmond, Frances Shuman, Nannie Sewell, Peggy Conelly, and Lilly Fennell; and her brothers, James Smith, J.D. Smith, Harry Smith and Wayne Smith.
A visitation will be held from 2 pm – 3 pm Sunday, December 10 th , 2023 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 3 pm in the Woods-Wainwright Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Emory Fennell presiding. Interment will be held privately by the family.
