Mrs. Betty Blankenship Jimmerson Holmes, age 77, of Hampton, GA, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014, at her residence.
Mrs. Holmes was born in Concord, GA, on July 29, 1936, to the late Aubrey Blankenship and the late Alma Watts Blankenship. She was preceded in death by her sister Glenda Crawley and brother A. J. “Sonny” Blankenship. Mrs. Holmes attended McDonough Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include her loving husband of 31 years, Ronnie Holmes; daughter and son-in-law Cindy Sanders and Ryan Radtke; grandchildren Josh Carns, Nikki and A. J. Jackson, and Trae Sanders; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Jackson, Carson Jackson, Caden Jackson and Ethan Sanders; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Ronnie Perdue, sister-in-law, Sandra Holmes Mote, brother and sister-in-law, Arch and Cherrie Holmes; special great niece, Emily Bullington; and several other nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for Mrs. Betty Holmes will be conducted on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at 3 pm in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Dr. David Chancey will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 2 pm until the service.
