Mrs. Boots Caroline Graham Walker , age 78 of Kingsland, Ga. passed away peacefully on the evening of Tuesday, October 3 rd , 2017 at her home surrounded by family.
Mrs. Walker was born on December 20 th , 1938 in Eastman, Ga. to the late Ollie Graham Ferrell. Mrs. Walker was most remembered for working at Angelo’s for 17 years. Mrs. Walker was a single mother of 7 children before she met her husband James R. Walker. They were married on September 7, 1974 in St. Marys, GA and shared 43 wonderful years of marriage. Boots was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Her interests included spending time with her family and close friends. She enjoyed having her family over for family get-togethers. Boots loved to cook and also enjoyed watching her soap operas. She had a love for dancing and listening to ZZ Top. Her most treasured times were those spent with her loved ones. She was always sure to tell you a wise joke, and loved to tell old stories of hers’ as a child. Mr. Walker was also an active member of Browntown Baptist Church for the last 16 years.
Mrs. Walker is survived by her beloved husband, James Raybon Walker, Jr.; her daughters, Diane (Billy) Cassidy of Salt Springs, Fl., Libby Robinson of Kingsland, Ga., and Cindy Owens of Brunswick, Ga.; her sons, Jimmy (Dianna) Selph of Kingsland, Ga., Phillip Selph of Kingsland, Ga., Tommy (Debbie) Selph of Orange Park, Fl., Johnny (Alecia) Williams of Kingsland, Ga.; her 2 sisters and 4 brothers; and 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great- grandchildren.
Besides her mother Ollie Farrell of Macon, Ga., Mrs. Walker was also preceded in passing by her brother, Jack Graham of Macon, Ga.
Funeral services for Mrs. Walker will be held at 11 am Friday, October 6 th , 2017 at Browntown Baptist Church in Kingsland, Ga. with Reverend Seymour Groover and Reverend Joe McSwain presiding. Interment will follow at Temple Creek Cemetery in Kingsland, Ga. Pallbearers will be BJ Cassidy, Raymond Cassidy, Mike Thomas, Chuck Thomas, Joe Selph, and Trey Cassidy.
