Mr. Brad Bond , age 69, of St. Marys passed away on the evening of Sunday, October 7th, 2018 at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, Ga.
Mr. Bond was born on November 15th, 1948 in Redding, Pa to the late Luther and Geraldine Bond.
His family said of him, “Brad was a gentle soul with a love for the ocean and his family. After having a full and successful career in the dental industry in Stuart, Fl., he spent his retirement in St. Mary’s, Georgia. There he volunteered for the American Red Cross as well as on Cumberland Island with the National Park Service. Brad spent his days fishing, diving, and enjoying every moment of life, making sure to keep those in his presence entertained at all times. Brad loved life and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.”
Mr. Bond is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Bond of St. Marys, Ga.; his children, Adam (Alicia) Bond of San Diego, Ca., Aubrie Bond of Tampa, Fl., and Jeff Bond of Pensacola, Fl.; his sister, Cynthia Bond of Sebastian, Fl., and his grandchildren, Lainey Dyches, Evan Dyches, and Marlin Bond.
A private service will be held by the family at a later date.
