Mrs. Brenda Sidwell, age 68, of Griffin, GA passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Brightmoor Hospice.
Mrs. Sidwell was born in Jacksonville, FL on December 23, 1947 to the late Mary Ellis Jones and the late John Oscar Lewis. She is also preceded in death by her husband Henry Sidwell, sisters Diane and Eunice, and brother Gary. Mrs. Sidwell joined Springhill Baptist Church at an early age; she served as an usher and church reporter for many years. In 2011, she retired from NACOM in Griffin, GA.
Affectionately called “Bren”, she made all around her feel comfortable with her hearty laughter and genuine love for everyone. She gave her nieces and nephews special attention with her generosity and will be sorely missed by her family for her open doors to her home and open heart to everyone.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sisters, Paulette McCrory (William) and Danielle; seven brothers, Marvin, Kevin, Timothy, Jonathan (Sherri), Randolph (Judy), Gregory, Vencent (Luisa); brother-in-law Robert Barkley; uncle Ben and aunt Jackie Moultrie, aunt Lorrain Ellis, Uncle Tony Ellis (Johnna) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
