Mr. Carl Mose Giddens, age 83, passed away on the morning of Saturday, February 17th, 2024, at the Lakes Crossing Assisted Living Center in Kingsland, Ga.
Mr. Giddens was born on November 5th, 1940, in Jacksonville, Fl. to the late Arthur Wilcox Giddens and Beulah Mary Giddens.
Some people call them angels, some people call them heroes, we call him our father, our grandpa and our great grandpa. Through his true honest nature, strong religious beliefs and solid family structure, he helped us build the discipline to make the right decisions, taught us to believe in ourselves, be acceptance to our own truth and lead us to only expect the best at everything that we set out to accomplish. He is a person who led by example in hard work and dedication, provided for his family in every way, brought the family together, made everyone feel like they were part of the family and changed our lives forever. We shared many laughs, many memories, his amazing meatloaf, his homemade fries and lots of love. He was the solid foundation to our family, taught us strong values and how to be a hard worker and provide for our family. He was and always will be the true example of a “Real & Honest” man, a “Dedicated & True” friend and an “Amazing & Loving” father and Grandfather. There are many stars in the sky, but now there are two bright stars back together, shooting across the sky and looking down on us forever.
Mr. Giddens is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Jeff) Blackstock of Kingsland, Ga.; his sons, Mike Giddens (deceased November 2023) & Mark Giddens, both of Kingsland, Ga., and Matt Giddens (Scott Lindsey), of NC.; his grandchildren, Tabatha (Chris) Brazell, Joe (Kristy) Fisk, Maelah Giddens, Keith Giddens, Cameron Giddens, Donnie Giddens, his great grandchildren, Garrett Brazell, Bryan Brazell, Hailey Fisk and Arrietty Giddens.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10 am Friday, February 23rd, 2024 in Lawnwood Cemetery in Kingsland, Ga. with Pastor Brian Parker presiding.
