Mrs. Carolyn Anderson, age 85, of Jackson, GA passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Spalding Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Anderson was born on April 2, 1932, in Monroe, GA to the late James O. McGuffey and the late Carrie Dalton McGuffey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack S. Anderson; son, Richard K. Anderson; and brothers, Robert McGuffey and J. McGuffey.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mindy and Robert Fowler; sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory M. Carlisle, Shane and Rose Carlisle, Robert and Kathy Anderson, and David Anderson; grandchildren, Gregory Carlisle, Jason, Davis, Steve and Faith Hendrix, Sean and Tonya Hendrix, Hayden Brooks, Ronnie and Dana Griffith, Troy and Jodi Griffith, Justin and Aimee Anderson, Jessica Thill, Chris Anderson, Laura Anderson, and Sarah Anderson; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Carolyn Anderson will be held on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 12:00 pm in Griffin Memorial Gardens. Reverend Gene White will officiate. Friends may visit the family Monday morning from 10:30 am until 11:30 am at the funeral home.
