Carrie Lillian Thomas Carter , 61, of Woodbine was called home to her eternal Father on Thursday, July 8th, 2010.
Ms. Carter was born in Henderson, NC, on September 30th, 1948 and is the daughter of Sibye Beatrice Harrison Thomas and the late Elmer William Thomas. She was a homemaker and mother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Ms. Carter is survived by her daughter, Amber Carter of Woodbine; her son, Devon Carter (Jessica Nicole) of Kingsland; her sisters, Macy Miller (Buddy) of Woodbine, and Penny Miller (Jim) of Kingsland; her brother, Johnny Thomas (Annette) of Kingsland; her grand-daughter, Lynzi Carter; her nieces, Tammy Mains and Wendy Woods; and her nephews, Jody Miller, Erik Miller, Daniel O’Neal, and Stephen O’Neal.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm, Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, July 11th, 2010 at the Forest View Baptist Church in Woodbine with Pastor Bobby Woods and Pastor Clarence Sapp presiding. Pall bearers will be Daniel O’Neal, Stephen O’Neal, Jody Miller, Erik Miller, Bobby Troupe, and Jeff Mitchell. Internment will follow in Homeward Cemetery in Waverly.
