Charlene Williams

Mrs. Charlene Barbara Williams , age 83, passed away in the morning hours of Tuesday June 27 th , 2017 in Kingsland, Ga.
Mrs. Williams was born January 12 th , 1934 in Maynard, Arkansas to the late Joe and Mary Parker.
Sister Williams accepted Christ as her Savior early in life and was of the United Pentecostal Faith. She had always been active in her church until her health no longer permitted. She loved the Lord and her church family dearly.
She loved her family as well. Due to the distance she was away from most of her kids, she received many photos of the kids and spent much time studying pictures. She referred to them as “MY” boy or “MY” girl. She could talk about her kids anytime you wanted. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her beloved husband, Rev. J.A. Williams of Kingsland, Ga; her son Michael (Rhonda) Williams of Missouri; her sister, Margaret Fowler of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in passing by her daughters, Brenda Jean Brownlow and Tena Gayle Lightfoot; her grandson, LaMark Davis; and her two sisters and four brothers.
Calling hours for Mrs. Williams will be from 10 am to 11 am Friday, June 30 th , 2017 at the First United Pentecostal Church of Kingsland. A service will follow immediately at the church with Pastors Edward J. Flader and Neil Blizzard presiding. Interment will be held at Lawnwood Cemetery in Kingsland, Ga. Members of the congregation and Mrs. Williams grandsons, Steven Lightfoot and Allen Williams will serve as pallbearers.
