Mr. Charles Wayne Davis, age 77, passed away on January 16
th
, 2025 at his home in Woodbine, Ga.
Mr. Davis was born on October 17, 1947 in Brunswick, Ga. to the late Horace and Edith Davis.
Wayne was an avid SEC GA Bulldog fan, a Camden County Wildcat fan and an Atlanta Braves fan. He enjoyed telling jokes and listening to music. He was a book of knowledge about all sports and music. He loved watching TV. And he loved his family. He cherished his wife whom passed before him. When his grandchildren were young and playing sports he attended every game. Fishing was not his favorite pass time but he was ready to go when the mention of fishing was heard. He was loved by many and never missed the opportunity to.make a.new friend. He will be greatly missed.
Mr. Davis is survived by his children, Jewel (Donna) Harvey of Waverly, Ga., Juanita (Randy) Douglas of Waverly, Ga., and Joseph Harvey, Jr. of Kingsland, Ga.; his sister, Susan Rabon of St. Marys, Ga.; his brother, Larry (Love) Davis of Waycross, Ga.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Davis; and sister, Janice Anderson.
A visitation will be held from 4-6 pm Sunday, January 19 th , 2025 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home in Kingsland, Ga. Graveside Services will be held at 12 pm Monday, January 20 th , 2025 in Lawnwood Cemetery in Kingsland.
