Mr. Charles Whitley Garrett, age 81, of Greenville, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016 in Newnan, GA.
Mr. Garrett was born in Shakerag, Forsyth County, GA on June 18, 1934 to the late Pauline Russell Garrett and the late Thurman Garrett. He was also preceded in death by his wife Sybile Jones Garrett.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Billy Sivell of Pine Mt., GA, Wendy and Mike Dukes of Woodbury, GA; son, Larry Garrett of Greenville, GA; grandchildren, Josh Fountain of Nashville, TN, Brandi Fountain of Pine Mt., GA, Cody Dukes of Woodbury, GA, Madison Dukes of Woodbury, GA; great-grandchild, Tyler Fountain of Pine Mt., GA; sister, Minnie Ingram of Manchester, GA and Linda Moore of Columbus, GA; brother, Marvin Garret of Greenville; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Woodbury.
