Mr. Charlie L. “Shane” Redding, age 70, of Griffin, Ga. passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Spalding Regional Hospital.

Mr. Redding was born on May 16, 1944 in Griffin, GA to the late Inman Redding and the late Ethel Redding. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Janie Lucille and brothers, Clifford Redding, Robert Redding and Joseph Redding.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Redding; daughters and son-in-law, Valerie and Joseph Jackson, Yolanda Redding and Tamika Redding; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Nicole Redding; niece and her husband, Rosie and Solomon Payne; grandchildren, Desmond Redding, Amber Redding, A'lexus Terrell, Tobias Terrell and Kayla Terrell; sister and brother-in-law, Sally and Simon Barret; brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Linda Redding and Nathaniel and Geraldine Redding; sister-in-law, Eula Mae Redding and a host of other nieces and nephews.
