Mrs. Charlotte Ann Royce, age 76, passed away on the morning of Friday, July 8th, 2022 at her home in Kingsland, Ga.
Mrs. Royce was born on December 8th, 1945 in Howell, Mi. to the late Gerald and Hilda McGilton West. She married Lloyd Royce September 17th, 1966 at 20 years old, becoming Charlotte Royce. They had 3 children, Michael, Ann and Amy. They gave her five grandchildren, Tiffany, Bobby, Charlotte, Amelia, & Emma. She also had two great grandchildren, Leela and Unity. She loved traveling and seeing the countryside, driving mostly down old back roads to see the scenery. She enjoyed camping and reenactment battles. She loved to dress up in period clothing and participated in the activities, including making her own clothes. She enjoyed cake decorating and shopping. In her free time, she liked reading, usually with her cat on her lap. She also enjoyed doing crafts and watching tv. Her favorite shows were The Big Bang Theory, Disney movies, & craft and cooking shows. Saturdays were spent going with her husband to yard sales and craft stores. Sundays she was at church. She frequently volunteered her time for church functions. She also visited family and friends frequently. She will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Royce is survived by her beloved husband, Lloyd Royce of Kingsland, Ga.; her son, Michael (Misty) Royce of Columbus, Oh.; her daughters, Ann Royce Harris of Waycross, Ga. and Amy (Chris) Hogan of Jacksonville, Fl.; her sister, Patricia (Larry) Schneeberger of Lansing, Mi.; her brother, Paul West of Shelby, Mi.; her grandchildren, Tiffany (Timothy) Wolfe, Bobby Harris, Charlotte Harris, Amelia Royce, and Emma Hogan; her great grandchildren, Leela and Unity Harris; her brother and sisters in law, Doris Cubberly, Ruth (Jeff) Babbit, Paul (Iris) Royce, Harold (MaryAnne) Royce, Ralph (Melissa) Royce and Fred (Jody) Royce.
Along with her parents, Charlotte joins her sister, Alberta Babbs Suttle and her brothers, Wilber Paul & Wilford Coy West in Heaven.
A memorial service for Mrs. Royce will be held on Friday July 22nd, 2022 at 7 pm at Ruhamah Baptist Church in Kingsland, Ga. with Pastor Alan Brown presiding.
