Christopher Bryan Nickles , 47, died Friday, July 22, 2011 at home in Woodbine, GA.
Mr. Nickles was born December 25, 1963 in Hillsdale, MI to the late Henry and Ruth Nyssen Nickles. He graduated from Homer High School in 1982 and later served in the US Marine Corps and the National Guard. He enjoyed fishing and working with lawn mowers and small engines. He was a loving and devoted son and brother.
Mr. Nickles is survived by his wife, Coni Hansman Nickles, of Colon, MI; his two children, Kristi Jo Nickles, of Colon, MI and Thomas (Kayla) Nickles of Morgantown, WV; his grandson, Nathaniel Nickles; his eleven sisters, Jean Ann Nickles, Sarah (Eric) Kas, Tina (Stan) Petrie, Nellie Moyer, Ina Gollnick, Tina Petry, Tracy Taner, Patty Callahan, Rita Ake, Lynn Foss, Joy Hastings; and his seven brothers, Clinton (Linda) Nickles, Richard (Fran) Nickles, Ollie Cole, Floyd Cole, Bill Cole, Robert Cole, and Jim Cole. Besides his parents, Mr. Nickles was preceded in death by his two brothers, Calvin and Ralph.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2011 from 1-3 and 5-8 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield, MI. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 5:00 PM at Mount Hope Cemetery in Litchfield, MI.
