Mr. Coleman Kapiloff Hammond, age 24, of Griffin, GA, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in St. Johnsbury Center, Vermont, a favorite place of his.

Coleman was born in Griffin, GA to Ethan A. Hammond and Susan Kapiloff Hammond. Coleman loved fishing, hunting, golf, and music.

Coleman is survived by his wife, Jennifer Kelley Hammond; son, Coleman “Henry” Hammond; parents, Ethan A. Hammond and Susan Kapiloff Hammond; brothers, Miles and John Richard Hammond; grandparents, Jack and Shirley Hammond, and Mark and Lillian Kapiloff, all from Griffin. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles Marsha and Paula Kapiloff, Richard Kapiloff, Mitch and Tammy Hammond, and Melissa Hammond Chamblee; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jan and Bob Cornealison; as well as several other loving family and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Coleman Kapiloff Hammond will be held Sunday, April 26, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Griffin. Dr. Richard Lumpkin, Dr. Med Roach and Dr. Benny Tate will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
