Mrs. Collis Sherrie Stephenson , 62 of Kingsland, Ga. passed away early Thursday morning January 3rd, 2008 at the South East Georgia Regional Health Systems Camden Campus in St. Marys.
Mrs. Stephenson was a native of Washington, DC and was born to Frank Thomas and Collis Allen Onachila on August 16th, 1945. She was married to John Thomas Stephenson who preceded her in death in 2002. She was a sweet natured person who was selfless in giving to others in spite of her own hardships. She was avid about the Florida Gators, shopping and had an affinity for stuffed animals, especially her skunk she called ”Sweets”. She will be missed.
Mrs. Stephenson is survived by her brother in law and his wife, George and Sue Stephenson of Harriet’s Bluff, Ga.
A funeral service was held graveside at 4 PM Friday January 4th, 2008 at the Lawnwood Cemetery in Kingsland with Pastor Bobby Woods presiding.
