Mrs. Cristina Rivera, age 85, of Griffin, GA, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Spalding Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Rivera was born on August 20, 1929 in Comerio, Puerto Rico, to the late Santiago Rivera and Cristobalina Cabrera. Mrs. Rivera was also preceded in death by her husband Prospero Camacho. She was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and was a very good cook.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Maria I. and Robert Gonzalez of Florida; son and daughter-in-law Miguel and Olga Camacho of Stockbridge, Georgia; sisters, Carmen Rivera of Griffin and Inez Rivera of Puerto Rico; brother, Genaro Rivera of Connecticut; grandchildren and spouses Anthony and Roxanna Camacho and Yesenia and Jason Camacho; and six great grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Cristina Rivera will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 1:00 pm at Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin. Friends may visit with the family Friday, April 10, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
