Mrs. Daisy M. McDonald
April 3, 1936 – January 22, 2016

Mrs. Daisy M. McDonald, age 79, of Griffin, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at Signature Healthcare of Buckhead.

Mrs. McDonald was born on April 3, 1936 to the late Nick Bowman and Ruby Richard in Griffin, Georgia. She was called home to join her loving husband, Albert McDonald, on January 22, 2016.

Mrs. McDonald was a faithful member of Grace Paradise Fellowship Baptist Church, where she served on the mother board. She was a devoted member and president of the All Denominational Choir Association for many, many years until she retired in 2015.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Trena (Quddus) Varner of Jonesboro, Georgia, and Priscilla (George) Elliot of Griffin, Georgia; four sons, Tony (Ketchia) Chambers of Hampton, Georgia, Jesse Richards, Ricky Chambers, and Marion (Valerie) Richards, all of Griffin, Georgia; one brother, Jesse Bowman of Griffin, Georgia; two aunts, Lottie Mae Fuller and Myrtle Lee Etheridge; best friend, Marie Holland and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service for Mrs. Daisy M. McDonald will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Pastor Ernest Weaver will offer the eulogy. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
