Little Dalton Joeseph Tanner Luder , age 6, aka “Sweet Baby” of Folkston, Georgia earned his wings on Saturday, August 13, 2011.
He was born May 26, 2005 in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended Folkston Elementary School briefly until he was diagnosed with Adrenoleukodystrophy. He also attended CLPA. Dalton loved the beach and spent most of last summer there. He also loved playing with his puppy Madea and his friend Beau. He attended Ephesus Baptist Church in Hilliard, Florida where he and his family are members.
He is survived by his parents, DJ and Tivey Beasley Luder of Folkston, Georgia; his brother, Donavin Luder of Folkston, Georgia; his maternal grandparents, Nanny and Papa (Charles and Sylvia Woosley) of Hilliard, Florida; his paternal grandparents, Dorn and Sally Luder of Dallas City, Illinois; his Aunt Dork (Cheri Darleeeeene), of Hilliard, Florida; his special cousins, Sissy (Olivia Sweatt), Bobby Beasley, and Baby Trenton, all of Hilliard, Florida; his caregiver/girlfriend, Aunt Fleeta (Alisa Lambert), his Boyz, Austin and Quinton Lambert all of Folkston, Georgia; his Hospice nurse, Aunt Miriam Cristobal of Brunswick, Georgia; as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and his friends all over the world, especially the ones in his hometown of Folkston, Georgia. He is predeceded in passing by his Papa Bobby Beasley.
Calling hours will start at 6:00 pm Monday, August 15, 2011 at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church in Folkston, Georgia. Services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 16, 2011 also at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church with Brother William (Bill) Kincade officiating. Pallbearers are Donavin Luder, Bobby Beasley, Charles Woosley, Quinton Lambert, Austin Lambert and Eddie Lambert. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jeremy Lee. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery in Jesup Georgia. Donations can be made at http://blessingfordalton.bbnow.org.
