Mr. Daniel Walker, age 66, of Hahira GA, passed away on July 25, 2014, at his residence.
Mr. Walker was born in Willacoochee, GA, on January 6, 1948, to the late John Lucius Walker and the late Lavada Jowers. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Sweeten; and sisters, Johnnie Faye and Viola. Mr. Walker was a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Allen Walker; daughter and son-in-law, Tammie and Miguel Hanson of Rex, GA; sons, Johnny Sutton of Forest Park, GA and Jeremy Sweeten of Hahira, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Lutreill and Poncho Melchor of Tifton, GA, sisters, Mary Spivey of Tifton, GA, and Florence Standford of Igma, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Erstin and Geraldine Walker; and grandchildren, Keanna, Jackie, Faith, Ariel, Riley, Colton and David.
