Mr. David Lee Blankenship, Sr., age 71, of Stockbridge, GA passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Emory Midtown Hospital.

Mr. Blankenship was born on July 12, 1945 to the late William Marvin Blankenship and the late Emma Nellie Blankenship. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Lou Blankenship.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Blankenship; sons, David Blankenship, Jr. and Ronny Blankenship; grandchildren, Jessica McLeod, Heather Bailey, Lauren Bailey and Haley Blankenship; and great-grandchild, Emorie Blankenship.

Funeral services for Mr. David Lee Blankenship, Sr. will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 12 pm in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday.
