Mr. David Randall Nichols, age 62, of Griffin, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at his residence surrounded by family.
Mr. Nichols was born on September 17, 1953 in Atlanta, GA to the late Gene Nichols and the late Barbara Pugh Nichols. He is also preceded in death by his brother Steve Nichols.
Mr. Nichols was a funny, loyal, protective and loving husband, father, paw paw and friend. He loved music and as a drummer recorded in Nashville and performed with many accomplished musicians. He also served his country as a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.
Mr. Nichols is survived by his wife, Arlene Nichols; daughter and son-in-law Amy and Salvador Brigido; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Selena Nichols, Bobby and Blythe Nichols, and Chris and Chasity Nichols; 8 grandchildren; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Tammy and Mike Cordell, and Barbara Jean and Daryl Padgett.
Funeral services for Mr. David Randall Nichols will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 1 P.M. in the chapel at the GA Veteran’s Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
