Mr. Dennis Charles Rector, age 65, of Jonesboro, GA passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge.
Mr. Rector was born on November 27, 1952, in Waynesville, NC. Mr. Rector served his country for over 21 years as a veteran of the US Army and was active during Desert Storm. He also had a successful and lifelong career in computers and IT. He was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne Rector and father, Ray Rector.
Survivors include his mother, Rose Rector; daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Jeremy Miller of Williamson, GA; son and daughter-in-law Matthew and Keli Rector of Jackson, GA; grandchildren, Ethan, Colton, Stella, and Olivia;; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Pam Rector, and Michael and Loretta Rector; and his loyal dog, Rufus.
Friends may visit the family of Mr. Dennis Charles Rector on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. Following the visitation, full military honors will be rendered at the funeral home in honor of Mr. Rector's service to his country.
