Mr. Dixwell Treadway Burnham, Jr., age 74, of Griffin, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Heritage Inn in Barnesville.

Mr. Burnham was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on July 11, 1941, to the late Dixwell T. Burnham, Sr. and the late Bernice Dutton Burnham. He was also preceded in death by his sister Mary Graves.
Mr. Burnham was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. During his time of service, he was stationed in Bitburg, Germany and Caribou, Maine. He was a member of Shepherd’s Chapel and the National Rifle Association. He was a ham radio operator and an avid fisherman. He retired as a Computer Programmer Analyst with Dekalb Data Center.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Linch Burnham; daughters, E. Andrea Burnham Miller and her husband Kyle Miller, and E. Michelle Burnham; grandchildren, Seth Pace and his wife Camille Sakamoto-Pace, and Andrew Pace; and great grandchild Austin Pace.
