Rev. Don Henry Pye
July 28, 1935 – April 10, 2017

Rev. Don Henry Pye, age 81, of Locust Grove, GA passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Rev. Pye was born on July 28, 1935 in Griffin, GA to the late Edward Earl Pye and the late Virginia Martin. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Bill Pye, Gary Martin, and Stevie Martin. He was a veteran of the U S Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He pastored numerous churches for 35 years across the state of Georgia.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years Jane Pye; daughters Donna P. Lynn and Kathy Upchurch; son Earl Pye; grandchildren, Chris Upchurch, Austin Lynn, Casey Upchurch, Alex Lynn, Alan Pye, and Mady Pye; sisters, Julie Cobb and Linda Pritchard; and brothers Ronnie Pye and Bobby Martin.

Funeral services for Rev. Don Henry Pye will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m at McDonough First Assembly of God. Rev. Joey Seabolt and Rev. Steve Snider will officiate. Interment will follow in Locust Grove City Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
