Dorothy Greer

Mrs. Dorothy A. Greer was born October 8, 1951 in Concord, GA to her parents, the late Mr. Marvin C. McGill, Sr. and Mrs. Lecolia Owens McGill. Mrs. Greer went home to be with her Lord on Monday, January 27, 2014.

Mrs. Greer was married to Mr. Robert J. Greer of Griffin, GA on February 18, 1980.

Mrs. Dorothy Greer leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Harvey (Bronida) Dickson and Anthony McGill; one daughter, Jeanette (Johnny) Raines, Jr.; two sisters, Willie Mae (Roosevelt) Wimbush, Ruby (Jerry) Webb; two brothers, Marvin C., Jr. (Jeanette) McGill and Carl (Connie) McGill; 7 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a very special aunt; Mrs. Betty Owens; a very special niece, Mrs. Barbara Marks and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy A. Greer will be conducted on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 12 noon in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Pastor Bernard Miller will officiate. Interment will take place on Sunday at 1pm in Griffin Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 6pm - 8 pm at the funeral home.
