Mrs. Elaine Brooks Grubbs, age 51 of Griffin, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 at her residence.
Mrs. Grubbs was born on June 8, 1961 in Griffin. She was a hairdresser and full time student in nursing school at Gordon College. She was also a member of the Church at the Crossings in Griffin. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Moon Brooks.
Survivors include her father, Gene Brooks of Griffin, ; daughter, Savannah Rose Grubbs of Molena, GA; sons, Christopher David Grubbs of McDonough, GA, and Joshua Ryan Grubbs and his wife Heather of Barnesville, GA; sisters, Angie Roth and her husband Mike of Griffin, and brothers, Sonny Brooks and his wife Deenie of The Rock, GA, and Reverend Ron Brooks and his wife Kim of Griffin, GA; grandchild Skyla Moore of Barnesville, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Grubbs will be held Sunday, July 29, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Reverend Ron Brooks will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
