Elizabeth Balazi

Mrs. Elizabeth Louise Balazi , age 70, of Kingsland passed away on Wednesday, February 19th, 2014 at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, GA.
Mrs. Balazi was born in Palatka, Florida on December 8th, 1943 to the late Luther and Lillie Wilkinson Brooks. She worked as a store clerk for Mom and Pops for a short time and then later, upon marrying, became a housewife. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her best.
Mrs. Balazi is survived by her beloved husband of 19 years, Robert Balazi and his son Steve Anderson of Flint, MI; her sister, Shirley (Carl) Stoeffler of St. Marys; her brothers, Luther (Winnell) Brooks, Jr. of Antioch, TN, Mitchell (Debi) Brooks of Mountain Grove, MO; and a special niece, who was like a daughter, Tressa Brooks and her daughters, Bianca and Bailey Diamond, who both called her Granny. She came from a large family and leaves numerous nieces, nephews, and their children who will miss Aunt Beth.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Balazi joins her two brothers and two sisters in heaven.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, February 22nd, 2014 at Westside Baptist Church, 201 S. Dandy Street in St. Marys, GA with Pastor Mark Gentry presiding.
