Mrs. Charlcey Elizabeth Baker Hazelrig, age 90, of Jonesboro, GA passed on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin.
Mrs Hazelrig was born on July 12, 1928 in Atlanta, GA to the late Olive Daniels and the late Newton Baker. She was a member of West Sunnyside C. H. Church. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Thomas Hazelrig Sr., and son, Virgil Thomas Hazelrig Jr.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Bob Carpenter, Karen Bateman, and Cindy and Edwin Vaughn; sons and daughter-in-law, Donnie Hazelrig, and Stephen and Darlene Hazelrig; 25 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 29 great-great grandchildren; 10 great-great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Charlcey Elizabeth Baker Hazelrig will be held today at 11:30 a.m. in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Barnesville, GA. Rev. Billy Anderson and Pastor Jonathan Fitzpatrick will officiate.
