Mr. Elmer “Fudd” Bowman, age 71 of Yatesville, GA passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Bowman was born in Unicoi County, Tennessee on June 22, 1941 to the late Carl Bowman and the late Helen Shell Bowman. Mr. Bowman was an auto body technician with Woodstock Quality Paint and Body in Woodstock, Georgia.
Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Lilly and Ted Bailey of Erwin, Tennessee and best friend and his wife, Phillip and Barbara Harris of Marietta, Georgia.
Funeral Services for Mr. Elmer Bowman will be conducted Sunday, July 29, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Pastor Durell Tharpe will officiate. Graveside services will follow on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery in Erwin, Tennessee. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 3 p.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
