Mr. Everett Jonas Cain, Jr., age 85 of Brooks, GA passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Cain was born on June 22, 1927 in Atlanta, GA to the late Everett Jonas Cain, Sr. and the late Vinnie Lee Cain. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Myra Cain and son, Dean Cain, Sr. He worked as a mechanic for Armor Tire Company before retiring. Mr. Cain was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps having served in Northern China during World War II.
Survivors include his sons, Mark O. Cain, Sr. and Tory Cain, nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Everett Jonas Cain, Jr. will be conducted on March 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Reverend Danny L. Henderson will officiate. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. Friends may visit the family Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
