Ms. Francie B. Sills, age 82 of Yulee, Fl., passed away on the evening of Friday April 7th, 2023 at River City Rehab Center in Jacksonville, Fl.
Ms. Sills was born on August 19th, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Ok. to the late Vernie Lou Bohanan and Tommie Elizabeth Chastain.
Francie was a devout Christian who loved her family dearly. Francie enjoyed fellowship and hosting parties that included a spread that would go on for miles. Francie thoroughly enjoyed bluegrass music festivals in Woodbine and Hoboken. Francie was a longtime member of Springhill Baptist church before moving to Nahunta and later found her forever home at Friendship Baptist Church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society when she lived in Kingsland. Charles and Francie never met a stranger and their doors were always open to all. They were always willing to help anyone in need regardless of the situation.
Ms. Sills is survived by her sons, Jay “Chris” Sills of Kingsland, Ga. and Edward “Slick” (Sandra) Andrews of Callahan, Fl.; her daughter in law, Dawn (Brian) Rowe of Yulee, Fl.; her grandchildren, Lindsay (Tony Hair) Albritton and Logan Rowland, all of Yulee, Fl. and Darrell (Amanda) Andrews, Janet (Gene) Bass, and Janine (David) Crawford, all of Callahan, Fl.
Ms. Sills was preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 42 years, Charles Sills.
A visitation will be held from 11 to 11:30 am Wednesday, April 12th, 2023 at Friendship Baptist Church in Kingsland, Ga. Funeral Services will begin at 11:30 with Pastor Steven Buchholz presiding. Interment will be held at a later date at Springhill Baptist Church in Fernandina Beach, Fl. with Brother Jackie Hayes presiding. Brian Rowe, Chris Sills, Tony Hair Darrell Andrews, and Wil Epps will serve as Pallbearers.
