Mr. Orville “Frank” Harris, age 75, passed away on the morning of Saturday, November 7th, 2020 surrounded by his family at his home in Blackshear, Ga.
Mr. Harris was born June 4th, 1945 in Kansas City, Mo. to the late Orville and Fern Harris. He joined the Navy after high school and enjoyed his travels during his time in the service. After retiring from the Navy, Mr. Harris continued his joy of travelling as a truckdriver. He absolutely loved ball games and never missed a local county high school game. Every Friday he would be at a game and anytime he travelled to see the Wildcats play he would take his granddaughter, Ashley along. He loved his grandchildren more than anything and was always there when they needed him. He was a cool, calm, laid back and funny person. He loved to people watch and sit on the porch with family to drink coffee. Mr. Harris was always the one in the family to make you laugh and even if he was being yelled at by his wife, he would turn it into a laughable moment as he would egg her on. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
