Mr. Garland E. Smith, age 62, of Rex, GA passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Smith was born in Red Fox, KY on August 22, 1951 to the late Cooly Smith and the late Juanita Lawson Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Smith of Rex, GA; son, B.J. Smith of Louisville, KY; sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Phil King of Columbus, IN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Darrell Smith of Columbus, IN, Jim and Elizabeth Smith of Bedias, TX, Bobby Haggard and Vicki Perkins of Scipio, IN, Marvin Smith of Nineveh, IN, and Cooly and Karen Smith of Temecula, CA; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and friends.
Memorial Services for Mr. Smith will be conducted in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 1:00pm.
