Gary Dunlap

Gary Brent Dunlap , 76 of Kingsland, Ga. passed away on October 26th, 2017, with his loving family by his side.
Mr. Dunlap was born March 22nd, 1941 in McMinnville, Tennessee. His family said of him, “His work ethic was commendable, as he gave Winn-Dixie over 50 years of service. He was beloved by many and could tell you anything you wanted to know about history. He had such a quick wit, always and without hesitation. He could tell a joke like no other and then laugh just as hard with you. He loved sports, especially his Tennessee Volunteers and boxing. Fishing was one of his favorite pastimes. He enjoyed gardening and any kind of yard work. He loved his family and cooking for them; everything from main meals to desserts. Two of his specialties were chicken potpie and baked banana pudding, which he made both from scratch.” He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Linda; his children, Sandy, Brent, Barbi and Wesley; several of his grandchildren, including his best buddy, his grandson, Brayden, as well as numerous other family members.
A celebration gathering of memorial for Mr. Dunlap will be held from 4 to 6 PM, Friday, December 29th, 2017 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home.
