George Branch

Mr. George Arthur Branch , 57 of Kingsland, passed away peacefully in his sleep, Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009 at his sister’s residence.
Arthur was born in Fernandina Beach on February 9th, 1952. He is the son of the late Hearl Adkin, Sr. and Orilla Gray Branch. Arthur was a 1970 graduate of Camden County High School. He was employed with Gilman Paper Company for 27 years. He was baptized at St. Marys Methodist Church as a young boy. Arthur enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a devoted father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed.
Mr. Branch is survived by his beloved daughter, Stephanie L. Branch of St. Marys; his sister, Jeanette A. Dyal of Kingsland; his brothers, Luther E. Branch of Vero Beach, Fl. and Brian A. (Sherri) Branch of Warner Robins; his sister in law, Karen Branch of Jacksonville, Fl.; an adored niece, Jennifer L. Sweat of St. Marys and a favorite nephew, Robert E. Dyal of Kingsland, plus several other special nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mr. Branch was preceded in death by his brother, Hearl A. Branch, Jr.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 pm, Sunday December 6th, 2009 at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held at 3 pm Monday, December 7th, 2009 in the Branch plot at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Marys with Pastor Rick Douylliez presiding.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Dyal, Wade Sweat, Jason, Luther and Brian Branch.
