Mr. Gerald “Jerry” D. Force, age 69, of Griffin, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Spalding Regional Hospital.

Mr. Force was born on July 31, 1946 in Griffin, GA to the late Jack Julius Force and the late Helen Louise Chambley Force.

Mr. Force was a faithful and caring husband and father. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed skeet shooting at the Griffin Gun Club with his close friends. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps and retired from BellSouth after 30 years.

Mr. Force is survived by his wife of 40 years Carol Force; sons Brandon Force of Culloden, GA, Ryan Force of Griffin, GA and Chad Frazee of NC; and sisters and brother-in-law, Ann Feltman of Griffin, GA, Linda and Charles McDonald of Winder, GA, and Patty Faulkner of Milner, GA .

A memorial service for Mr. Gerald “Jerry” D. Force will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 3 P.M. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Sunday.
