Glen Foxworthy

Mr. Glen Thomas Foxworthy , age 49 of Kingsland, Ga. passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 21st, 2019 at South East Georgia Health System in Brunswick, Ga.
Mr. Foxworthy was born in Port Orchard, Washington on May 8th, 1970. He is the son of Mr. Gary E. Foxworthy and the late Mrs. Linda Diane Beck Foxworthy. His son, Austin shared that his father was a good and faithful follower of Jesus Christ., he served honorably in both the US Coast Guard and the United States Marine Corps. During his service with the Marines, he became a combat veteran during Desert Storm, the liberation of Kuwait and was later a part of the Unified Task Force peacekeeping mission in Somalia. He was a man not afraid of the demands of hard work and was employed as a pipe fitter by the North Florida Shipyards in Jacksonville, Florida. He was loved by many people and will be missed by family and friends alike.
Mr. Foxworthy is survived by his son, Austin H. Foxworthy of Kingsland, Ga. and his father, Gary E. Foxworthy of Athens, Alabama.
A celebration of Mr. Foxworthy’s life will be held at 5 pm, Monday July 29th, 2019 at Crooked River Baptist Church in St. Marys, Ga. with Pastor Don Belcher officiating.
