Mrs. Goldie Allene Morrison, age 87, of McDonough, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Brightmoor Hospice.
Mrs. Morrison was born August 11, 1927 in Cartwright, TN, to the late Tim Smith and the late Martha Smith. She was also preceded in death by her son Henry Thomas “Tom” Morrison, Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years Henry Thomas Morrison, Sr. of McDonough, GA, granddaughters Wendy Mizell of Senoia, GA and Jennifer Wagner of Newnan, GA; grandsons Christopher Thomas Morrison of Newnan, GA and Andrew Thomas Morrison of Destin, FL; and great grandchildren Austen and Jack Wagner, Brooke and Baleigh Morrison, and Maggie, Lulu, Erin Elizabeth and Reagan Mizell.
Funeral services for Mrs. Morrison will be held Monday, March 16, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Heritage Funeral Home. Reverend Roger Morrison will officiate. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro, GA. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
