Hazel Parra
August 10, 1933 — March 19, 2011
Hazel A. Hamilton , 77 went to be with the Lord on March 20th, 2011 at the Senior Care Center in St. Marys, Ga. She was with her daughter and son-in law at her time of passing at 9:30 am.
Hazel loved the South so much she spent most of her adult life living in Alabama, Georgia and Florida, but always returning home to Indiana. She was born in Morrishill, Indiana on August 8th, 1933 and graduated high school in 1951.
She was an avid reader, mostly about Christianity and she loved to drive. She’s get something on her mind and she would just drive for miles thinking about it or end up at someone’s house.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca and husband Ron Hayes, son Dylan and wife Dawn Jordan. She has five grandchildren, Kirsten, Elyse, and Caitlen Jordan, and Evan and Paul Hayes, and one great grandchild, Easton Jordan, two years old. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cleo and Eddie Clay Hamilton, two brothers, Sem and Herman Hamilton, his son, Charlie Hamilton, one sister, Nan Lyons and her husband Noel.
She was always a loving and kind hearted woman. She’ll be in our hearts forever and always.
Hazel will be put to rest in West Newton Cemetery at a later date with many of her family members. Peace be my heart. Let the time for passing be sweet.
