Helen Wirtz, age 78, passed away the evening of October 2nd in St Marys, Ga after battling lung cancer.
She was preceded in her death by her parents Ollie and Lear Carroll, her brothers Hubert Carroll, Edwin Carroll and her son James 'Mitch' Mixon.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years Dan Wirtz and children Sherri Cruz, David Mixon and Jeffrey Mixon. Also her brothers Irwin Carroll, Albert Carroll, Floyd Carroll, Dennis Carroll and 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Helen loved her children more than anything. They were her greatest joy. She loved to make their favorite meals on their birthdays.
She will be GREATLY MISSED by all of her family.
Helen chose to be cremated and not have any kind of memorial services. Condolences can be passed on to her husband and children.
In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the Cancer Research of your choice.
