Mr. Henry L. McIntosh, age 82, of Griffin, GA, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. McIntosh was born on August 13, 1933 in Carrollton, GA to the late Jessie Loyd and Clenice Cash McIntosh. He is also preceded in death by his brother Chester McIntosh. Mr. McIntosh was a veteran of the U S Air Force and was employed for many years by Thomaston Mills.
Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Terry and Hamada East of Japan, and Michael David East of Jackson; daughter and son-in-law Brenda and Paul Olson of Jackson; sister Dorothy Kefling of Carrollton; five grandsons, Mathew, Nathan, Joe, John and Jeremiah; and a niece and nephew.
Funeral services for Mr. Henry L. McIntosh will be conducted Friday, September 4, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with Military Honors provided by Marine Corps League Detachment 1196 of Griffin. Reverend Terry Butler will officiate. Friends may visit the family Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
