Mrs. Irma Ruth Anderson Borts, age 94, of Long Beach, California, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014, in Griffin surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Borts was born in Viola Center, IA, on July 13, 1920, to the late Thomas Andrew Anderson and the late Opal Ruth Bruce Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darwin Borts and grandson Shawn Christoffels. Mrs. Borts attended Beth Yeshua International.
Survivors include daughter, Dawn Elizabeth Jennings of Griffin, Georgia; sons Paul Darwin Borts of Marietta, Georgia and Noel Thomas Borts of Wynlock, Washington, grandchildren Shane Christoffels, Jamin Ellsworth, Sarah Nocher, Adam Borts, Erin Borts, Stephanie Borts, Mellisa Borts, Trey Williams, Trinity Frye and Daniel Wellington; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sister Evelyn Lange of Adams, Minnesota.
